Introduction
A thrilling cable car ride shuttles visitors from the desert floor up almost 8,500 feet to the heights of Mt. San Jacinto, sometimes providing a 30-degree temperature drop in just a few minutes. Once at the top, there is summer hiking and winter cross-country skiing and sledding along with two restaurants. The last car goes up at 8 p.m., while the last car down is at 9:45 p.m.
