Introduction
Each Thursday evening, the City of Palm Springs closes down its main street, Palm Canyon Drive, and sets up VillageFest, a conglomeration of handcrafted items in individual booths, food tasting opportunities, and street entertainers. For almost 20 years, VillageFest has been a Palm Springs tradition. More than 200 booths offer a unique shopping experience as artists create paintings before your eyes, massage tables invite the weary, and that henna tattoo calls out your name.
