Turn left on Mamaki off Highway 11, just past the "Kulani 19, Stainback Highway" sign.

Introduction

Children enjoy the spider monkeys, the pygmy hippopotamus, and the white tiger (feedings are every day at 3:30 p.m.) in this quiet zoo, the only rain-forest zoo in the United States. There are a variety of native Hawaiian species, such as the state bird, the nene (Hawaiian goose), as well as a small petting zoo.
