Introduction
An once-in-a-lifetime undersea adventure with Atlantis Submarine, the world’s first and most technologically advanced passenger submarine. Kids love to journey into a spectacular ocean world more than 100 feet below the surface in air-conditioned comfort. To enhance its sub tour experience and improve the marine environment, Atlantis embarked on creating an artificial reef in early 2006 by sinking the Carthaginian, a 19th century supply vessel. The sunken Carthaginian is anchored to a sandy bottom in 95 feet of water. The resulting artificial reef has developed into a self-sustaining habitat for indigenous fish, coral and other marine life.
