If you’re a die-hard sports fan, Baltimore is your kind of town! In the spring and summer, catch an O’s game at Camden Yards. If you’re in town during football season, check out the Ravens at their home nest, M&T Bank Stadium. And any time of year is a great time to check out our Sports Legends at Camden Yards, a new museum with exhibits featuring Johnny Unitas and all the city’s and state’s best-loved teams.
Then don’t forget to swing by the nearby Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum for a peek at the Babe’s childhood home.
Travel to Aberdeen, Maryland – the home of another Baltimore baseball legend – and take in an Aberdeen Ironbirds game at Ripken Stadium. Discover 350 years of lacrosse history at the Lacrosse Museum and National Hall of Fame.
Check out thoroughbred racing at historic Pimlico Race Course, the site of the now legendary showdown between Seabiscuit and War Admiral, as well as the Preakness Stakes. Baltimore is also home to indoor soccer and football, beach volleyball and great golf – so no matter the season, you’ll find great sports activities to enjoy!
