Hotel prices are for a standard double room, excluding state (5% in Maryland) and Baltimore City tax (7.5%) for a total of 12.5% room tax. All hotels listed are within a short drive or a half hour's walk of the Inner Harbor. Fells Point is less than a mile from downtown Baltimore and the Inner Harbor -- a commute that's especially enjoyable by water taxi. Lodging reservations must be made well in advance in summer and for Preakness weekend, the third weekend in May. Hunt Valley, a suburb about 25 minutes' drive north of Baltimore on I-83, has several convenient budget options. In summer, prices are significantly higher than off-season.Content provided by
