Introduction
Calvert County, Maryland, located 30 miles southeast of Washington, DC, is bounded on the east by the scenic Chesapeake Bay and on the west by the Patuxent River. The county offers rural charm and an unmatched quality of life, and is an ideal place to work, live and visit.
Calvert County provides extensive outdoor activities through its 143 miles of shoreline and over 4,600 acres of parks and open space.
