Mill City Museum

Introduction

Mill City Museum describes in compelling, multi-sensory and hands-on ways how Minneapolis grew around its industrial nucleus – flour milling – into one of the world’s greatest cities. The 70,000-square-foot building is an architectural showpiece, rising 8 stories inside the limestone ruins of the Washburn A Mill, capped by a rooftop observation deck offering a sweeping view of the Mississippi River.
