Las Vegas has evolved into the world’s greatest vacation destination, and there’s no better time to visit Vegas Right Now and experience it for yourself. It’s no wonder nearly 40 million people visit Las Vegas every year – the city has something for everyone, with unparalleled shopping, dining, pools, spas, golf, the biggest names in entertainment and a sizzling nightlife. It’s excitement that only Las Vegas can deliver.

Start by checking out Las Vegas’ amazing malls and specialty shops and find something for everyone on your list. If you want it, you can find it here -- Las Vegas has developed into a one-stop shopping Mecca, with everything from souvenir shops to haute couture boutiques.

Check out the new Town Square Las Vegas on the south end of Las Vegas Boulevard. With more than 150 retail stores and 12 restaurants, Town Square Las Vegas is an open-air center featuring 22 buildings detailing a collage of Old World and contemporary architectural styles, along with pedestrian-friendly streets and lushly landscaped walkways. The 1.5 million-square-foot center is an indoor and outdoor shopper's paradise offering Rave Motion Pictures, H&M, Abercrombie & Fitch, Sephora, Lucky Brand Jeans, bebe, Robb & Stucky and more.

The Shoppes at The Palazzo offer 450,000 square feet of retail space anchored by an 85,000 square-foot Barneys New York. The Shoppes also include premier names such as Diane Von Furstenberg, Chloe, Christian Louboutin, Thomas Pink, Fendi and Bottega Veneta.

Also on the Strip, great shopping is always in fashion at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, the Forum Shops at Caesars, the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian, Via Bellagio, Wynn Esplanade and Mandalay Place.

With 150 designer and name brand outlet stores, Las Vegas Premium Outlets downtown has an attractive and impressive list of stores such as: A|X Armani Exchange, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, Elie Tahari, Kenneth Cole, Lacoste, Polo Ralph Lauren, St. John, Theory, J. Crew and many more.

After all that shopping, you’ll definitely want to refuel at one of Las Vegas’ fabulous restaurants. The city has culinary pleasure for every appetite, with celebrity chefs and cuisine that has placed Las Vegas among the elite cities for finding great food. Bon Appétit magazine, the leading authority in the culinary world, recently cemented Las Vegas’ place among U.S. dining capitals by declaring the destination as one of the nation’s top five restaurant cities.

The famed Michelin Guide reviewed 130 Las Vegas restaurants in its 2008 guide and gave a rare three-star designation – reserved for eateries with exceptional cuisine that is “worth the journey” -- to Joel Robuchon at the MGM Grand. Three restaurants also received two-star honors: Alex at Wynn Las Vegas, Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace, and Picasso at Bellagio.

If you love great sushi, the world-renowned SushiSamba recently opened inside The Shoppes at the Palazzo. SushiSamba combines Brazilian flavors, precise Japanese technique and Peruvian culinary traditions. The 14,000-square-foot restaurant, the chain’s first on the West Coast, includes a 21-person sushi bar and a distinctive robata grill. After a memorable meal, a dark corridor leads to the Sugarcane lounge, where the stage, dance floor and DJ booth include gold and chocolate brown leather, bamboo and wenge wood and a VIP are with Brazilian Favela street finds.

More great sushi also awaits at the Ra Sushi Bar Restaurant, Red Sushi at Golden Nugget, Sushi Roku at Caesars Palace and the newly opened Yellowtail at the Bellagio.

Are you a steak lover? No place combines food and fun like Las Vegas, and the brand-new BRAND Steakhouse at the Monte Carlo is another prime example.

Part steakhouse and part lounge, BRAND’s open design, centrally located in the Monte Carlo’s casino floor, includes a 5,500-square-foot dining room and adjacent lounge. The fusion of fine dining with the classic contemporary American steakhouse, coupled with a chic nightclub featuring five elevated plasma screens and a booth for a live DJ, creates the ultimate Las Vegas experience.

Of course, Las Vegas can stake its claim to some of the finest steakhouses around, including Wolfgang Puck’s CUT at the Palazzo, Charlie Palmer Steak at Four Seasons, Vic & Anthony's at the Golden Nugget, CraftSteak at MGM Grand and the Strip House at Planet Hollywood.

As the dining scene continues to evolve in Las Vegas, new restaurants continue to open nearly every month, providing unique experiences for repeat visitors. David Burke opened at the Venetian and Mario Batali brought CarneVino next door to The Palazzo, adding to the hotel’s prestigious list of James Beard Award-winning, chef-owned restaurants. The sophisticated Simon Restaurant and Lounge at Palms Place offers a seasonal menu and a sparkling view of the Las Vegas Strip and Spring Mountains. Caesars Palace introduced Payard Patisserie and Bistro by third generation French pastry chef Francois Payard. With so many options, you’re sure to find something that’s perfect for your taste buds.
