Introduction
A flat, wide, easy to walk path, the trail is suitable for all members of the family. The 2.5-mile, self-guided trail through the shrub thickets and forest is open year round and includes two observation platforms offering excellent views of the sound and its marshes. Changing with the season, the waters, marshes, and surrounding woodlands abound with a diversity of birds from brown pelicans migratory waterfowl to prairie warblers.
