Introduction
Many of the elegant hotels near the city center or on the riverfront appeal because of their proximity to the city's attractions. MAX light rail is within easy walking distance of most properties. Many downtown hotels cater to business travelers and offer special discounts on weekends. Additional accommodations clustered near the Convention Center and the airport are almost exclusively chain hotels and tend to be slightly less expensive than those found downtown. An alternative to the standard hotels in the city are the several beautiful B&Bs spread throughout residential neighborhoods in the northwest and northeast, where there are lovely homes, unique and luxurious guest rooms, deluxe home-cooked breakfasts, and friendly and knowledgeable innkeepers.Content provided by
