Introduction
Most visitors to Dallas stay in or near downtown, site of the most remarkable flowering of skyscraping architecture anywhere. Shopaholics might consider staying north of downtown, where the city's establishment has long been entrenched and there's shopping galore. There is no end of hotel rooms in Dallas, and you can pretty much find the usual range of rooms, from exceptional places fit for a king or queen, to less impressive quarters to those that barely pass muster.
