Begin your day with a brisk walk around Memorial Garden Park. The charming sculptures adorn the path are set to entertain with whimsical scenes. Your art-appetite whetted, you’ll want to visit the Ellen Noel Art Museum next.
Exhibiting nationally renowned collections and artists, the Ellen Noel Art Museum presents contemporary art in a state-of-the-art facility. While you are there, visit the Sensory Garden. Designed for both sighted and non-sighted visitors, the Sensory Garden is an engaging way to interact with art.
The Presidential Museum and Leadership Library is just across the parking lot. The museum grounds host a former home of Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. The MCM Elegante Hotel’s Shrimpboat Restaurant serves a delicious lunchtime buffet. After lunch, stop at the Stonehenge replica at The University of Texas at the Permian Basin.
