Tour the Pacific World War II Museum
Return the scenic route via Luckenback, the Wildseed Farm and Sisterdale
Stop in Boerne for quaint shopping, live entertainment and Texas B-B-Q
Day 4
Visit Johnson City, home of our 36th president, Lyndon Johnson, and tour the Johnson homestead where Lady Bird still lives and then visit the Stutter Ranch a working ranch set in the 1800’s
Visit the State Capitol in Austin and have lunch on 6th street or Town Lake
Tour the LBJ President Library and tour the Texas Museum of History
Return to San Antonio for dinner and a rodeo and live entertainment at Cowboys San Antonio
Day 5
Shopping trip to San Marcos Outlets one of the top five outlet malls in the U.S.
At late lunch or early dinner in Gruene, home to one of the country’s oldest, active dance halls; dine along the Guadalupe River; visit an original old-fashion General Store for hand-dipped ice cream; and shop for unique gifts and antiques. For the young at heard enjoy a day tubing on the Guadalupe and Conrnal Rivers or a day at Schlitterbahn water park.
Day 6
Enjoy a day out at Dude Ranch in Bandera, the Cowboy Capital of the World. Only a short drive from San Antonio takes you back to experience a day in the life as a cowboy.
Try your hand at roping , riding, working the ranch, and afterwards enjoy a chuck wagon dinner with singing and dancing.
Day 7
A trip to Corpus Christi offers different excursions; the city is approximately 2.5 hours from San Antonio.
Corpus Christi sits on the Gulf of Mexico. If offers miles of open beaches to explore and hung sand dollars and boast the battle ship Lexington and sea aquarium for touring. For those interested in deep-sea fishing, there are numerous fishing charters available. In nearby Rockport, a quaint fishing village, are seasonal birding excursions into the marshlands to view over 150 migration birds.
