Winter in Jackson

Tuesday

Afternoon - Fly into Jackson Hole Airport.

Get up close and personal with the largest elk herd in North America on a Elk Refuge Sleigh Ride! Excursions leave from the Jackson Hole & Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center. Dress warmly and don’t forget your camera!

Evening – Test your know-how at Trivia Night! Cascade Grill located in Teton Mountain Lodge in Teton Village hosts this fun for all evening.

Wednesday

Morning/Afternoon – Ski or snowboard your way down one of three area ski resorts! Snow King is the in-town resort where you can ski for two hours or all day and night; Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is the home of the Tram and 2,500 acres of skiable terrain; and don’t forget Grand Targhee Resort with its powder, powder and more powder - 500 plus inches of natural snow means snowcat skiing!

Evening – Snow Tubing anyone!?! This is a fun winter sport that requires no skill and is fun for all ages over 42 inches tall. Located at the base of Snow King Resort hence the name “King Tubes.” Open till 8pm.

Thursday

Morning/Afternoon - Take advantage of the abundance of boutiques, art galleries, and cafés that downtown Jackson has to offer.

Downtown Jackson has an old west feel that will make shopping enjoyable and unique.

There is a plethora of restaurants in Jackson. Whether you are in the mood for Thai or Burke’s Chop House for fine dining, you will have a number of places to choose from.

Evening - For your last night, take in the nightlife Jackson has to offer! The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar complete with saddle bar stools, The Silver Dollar Bar located in the historic Wort Hotel or cozy up at the Enoteca Wine Bar at Nani’s!

Friday

Morning - Depart from Jackson Hole Airport.
