Discover America defines Travel Specialists as any organization that provides professional travel planning services to consumers.

DiscoverAmerica.com is currently marketed to travelers from the UK, Germany, Canada, Mexico Japan and the United States. A Travel Specialist should have offices in the country of the website for which they are registering (i.e. Japanese Travel Specialists should register for the Japanese website). Only offers and services to the United States should be listed.

If you have offices in one of the above countries and provide travel products and services to the United States and are in good standing with the business community, you are qualified to market your products and services to visitors on DiscoverAmerica.com.

Discover America defines Travel Suppliers as any organization that provides travel products to consumers. Travel suppliers do not offer full travel planning services.

Although DiscoverAmerica.com is currently marketed to travelers from the UK, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Japan and the United States, travel suppliers may be within or outside the United States, but must offer travel product within the United States on DiscoverAmerica.com.

If you are an organization in any of the following travel categories, you are considered a travel supplier: Rental Cars, Hotels/Accommodations, Airline and other transportation providers (i.e. Bus, RV, Rail), and Attractions.

Registering as a travel supplier will allow your organization to market its products (deals/special offers/travel packages) to visitors of DiscoverAmerica.com.

Individuals defining themselves as States/Destinations verify that they work for an official U.S. state tourism office, destination marketing organization or convention and visitor bureau.
