Morning

Wake up at sunrise and experience Orlando from a bird’s-eye view with a hot-air balloon ride at Orange Blossom Balloons in Lake Buena Vista. The entire family can enjoy the spectacular sites Orlando has to offer from an entirely unique perspective. The breath-taking views will leave you in awe from this once-in-a-lifetime experience. After the ride, you will be greeted with champagne or orange juice and a full breakfast buffet, where passengers will receive their first flight certificate. Kids nine and under fly free.

Your next stop will bring you up close and personal with Florida’s wildlife at Gatorland on South Orange Blossom Trail. Known as the “Alligator Capital of the World,” this attraction features thousands of alligators and crocodiles, children’s train ride, aviary, petting zoo and much more. You can also watch one-of-a-kind shows, such as the world famous Gator Jumparoo or one-of-a-kind Reptilian show.

For families looking for an all day adventure, head to Discovery Cove. At this tropical hideaway you can swim with a bottlenose dolphin, snorkel with fish and rays and hand feed a variety of birds. This picturesque setting will make your whole family feel like they are on an exotic island getaway. After exploring the lagoons, relax on the beach and soak up the Florida sunshine. Lunch for the entire family is included with your admission. Or, visit Discovery Cove's sister park, SeaWorld Orlando. You can go below the surface and above the waves while feeding dolphins and sealions, counting teeth on a shark or meeting Shamu - SeaWorld's famous "spokeswhale."

Afternoon

The Central Florida Zoo, located in Sanford, is another animal-friendly attraction that provides a relaxing, entertaining and educational experience for the entire family. This enchanting tropical zoo has hundreds of mammals, reptiles and birds from around the world. While you’re there, visit the Butterfly Sensory Garden, which incorporates various sensory stations to contrast human and insect senses.

Then, take your family gliding through the wetlands at Boggy Creek Airboat Rides in Kissimmee. On this half-hour guided tour you’ll get a sensational close-up view of towering Cypress trees, natural wetlands and wildlife. On each ride, get a glimpse of soaring eagles, osprey, snakes, turtles and Florida alligators.

If you’re looking for a trail riding adventure or time in the peaceful, quiet country, visit Horse World Riding Stables in Kissimmee. There are three guided trail rides for beginning to advanced riders.

If you’re a sports fan, bring the family to watch the Atlanta Braves during spring training or a host of other sporting events at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex. The reigning National League East champions play a 16-game home schedule at Cracker Jack Stadium from March 2-31 against other top Major League Baseball opponents, including the New York Yankees, New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals.

Another option is a two-hour guided fishing trip at Fort Wilderness Marina Fishing Excursion on Bay Lake, departing from Magic Kingdom resorts. All fishing excursions are led by expert bass guides aboard pontoon boats that are fully stocked with rods, reels, fishing gear and refreshments. Kids Fishing Around the World is a child's fishing excursion and is available for ages 6 – 12 on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Evening

During the evening, enjoy a fun game of miniature golf at Hawaiian Rumble Adventure Golf on International Drive. This unique golf course has a lush tropical setting, featuring the tallest waterfall and musical fountain. Make sure to watch out for the erupting volcano!

After a game of golf, bring the family to Fun Spot Action Park on International Drive to experience the 17 action-packed rides and attractions. The entire family can race on the four unique go-kart tracks, ride on the Ferris Wheel, compete in bumper cars and play in the largest video arcade in Central Florida. For children under seven there is a Kid’s Spot that includes swings, a train ride, twirling teacups and other rides.

Don’t end your day before visiting Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to see Chip’n Dale’s Campfire Sing-a-long. The entire family will enjoy gathering around the campfire while making s’mores, singing and meeting Chip’n Dale. After the sing-a-long, watch a classic Disney movie under the bright Florida stars.
