Introduction
Restaurant prices are per person for a main course at dinner. North of Saratoga Street in Mount Vernon, Charles Street is the place for dining. Choices around the Inner Harbor often mean chains or hotel restaurants; head south to Federal Hill for more interesting options. In Little Italy, at the eastern end of the Inner Harbor, are Italian restaurants serving different regional variations, although most tread the classic Southern Italian, spaghetti-with-garlic-bread road. Fells Point has some renowned local restaurants. Charles Village, near Johns Hopkins University, and Hampden, just west, have some good casual options. Note that places generally stop serving by 10 PM, if not earlier.
