After a great meal, it’s showtime! Las Vegas’ spectacular nightlife is unlike anything you can experience elsewhere. Check out the Tony Award-winning musical The Jersey Boys at The Palazzo, and follow the success and go behind the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
Or catch any of the three huge acts that call the Colosseum at Caesars Palace home – Cher, Bette Midler and Elton John. Cher’s new 90-minute production show features all of her greatest hits, combined with lavish costumes, the latest stage technology and breathtaking choreography. Midler’s “The Showgirl Must Go On” and John’s “The Red Piano” round out this amazing trio of music icons, playing only in Las Vegas!
The Las Vegas Strip’s collection of Broadway shows offers even more can’t-miss entertainment, including Stomp Out Loud at Planet Hollywood and Broadway’s longest running solo show, Defending the Caveman, at the Golden Nugget. These productions join Phantom – the Las Vegas Spectacular at The Venetian and MAMMA MIA! at Mandalay Bay.
Along with attracting top-notch acts to its plentiful concert venues, Las Vegas is home to the best ongoing music, comedy and magic, including Master Magician Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo, comedians Rita Rudner at Harrah’s and Roseanne Barr at the Sahara, Menopause: The Musical at the Las Vegas Hilton, The Rat Pack is Back at the Plaza, and much more. They don’t call Las Vegas “the Entertainment Capital of the World” for nothing.
After the show, it’s time to hit the clubs – and no place on earth can match Las Vegas for nightlife. Start downtown at Gold Diggers, the newest nightlife experience at the Golden Nugget. Gold Diggers has a large dance floor bordered by bartenders serving up enticing libations in a fun-filled atmosphere. Just steps away, the nightspot opens to a 180-degree, oversized balcony providing astonishing views of the Fremont Street Experience.
While you are downtown, you can check out several other hotspots – don’t miss New York’s famous Hogs & Heifers, where bartenders wear halter tops and leather pants and are armed with megaphones to make sure things stay rowdy throughout the night. The Triple George Grill next door on 3rd Street has great food and a classic lounge. Or hang out at Beauty Bar with its New Jersey beauty shop décor and get a nail polish with your libation. Then grab a signature martini at the Downtown Cocktail Room.
Polly Esther’s at the Stratosphere features multiple themed rooms from the '70s, '80s, '90s and today in its 26,000-square foot venue.
Pure Management Group and famed fashion designer Christian Audigier have teamed up to create a new nightclub on the Strip called ‘Christian Audigier The Nightclub’ at Treasure Island. Known worldwide in the fashion industry, Audigier has popularized and created such lines as Ed Hardy, Smet, Crystal Rock and his namesake brand. The rock ‘n roll, glam-inspired style is evident throughout the nightclub including roses, skulls, gleaming crystals and black glass chandeliers.
Other must-see Las Vegas clubs include Revolution at The Mirage, Body English at the Hard Rock, PURE at Caesars Palace, Studio 54 at MGM Grand, Coyote Ugly at New York-New York, TAO Nightclub at the Venetian and Rain in the Desert at the Palms.
