DiscoverAmerica.com was developed under a cooperative agreement between the U.S. Travel Association and the U.S. Department of Commerce. The website is owned and operated by Discover America LLC which is a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Travel, a U.S. based, non-profit organization representing the travel industry whose mission is to promote and facilitate travel to and within the U.S.

• For citizens of the UK, Germany and Japan, travel of less than 90 days, does not require a Visa. All that is needed is a compliant passport.
Also, please note that upon entry into the United States your photograph and digital fingerprints will be collected. Many countries around the world use biometrics as a way of facilitating the international travel process, protecting travelers against identity theft, and preventing document fraud as well as for security purposes.
